At Hippo Trails Camp our mission is to provide you with the best possible comfort in the Serengeti without distractions that take away from the extraordinary natural beauty of the surroundings. While simple, our tents provide you with all the amenities you may need. Our tents are raised from the ground with interior natural wood floors covered with local sisal carpets. Whether your needs call for a twin, king or family room configuration, each room has luggage racks, writing desk with charging station, bottled drinking water, sitting area with comfortable chairs and table as well as safari chair seating on the large outdoor deck. The bathrooms have flush toilets, hot and cold running water, large vanity area and closet space with hangers and shelving. We provide toiletries in large pump bottles to save our environment from more plastic waste. Both electricity and  hot water are fully solar powered.
